How to read Google ratings for print shops
The cards on this site copy stars and review counts from Google Business. Those numbers are public. They are not a quality score you can sort once and trust.
Count beats the decimal
A 5.0 from 282 reviews and a 5.0 from 27 reviews are not the same signal. A 4.5 from 137 reviews has more weight than a 4.9 from 25. Small samples swing when a handful of friends — or a handful of bad days — post at once.
Stars do not list the job
Google ratings mix walk-in singles, team orders, embroidery, and people who only picked up a reprint. They do not tell you the shop’s minimum, whether screens are burned in-house, or how long a six-color job actually takes in September.
Read the date, then call
Hours and phone numbers on these cards are from September 2026. Shops change Saturday windows. The useful next step on any card is Call or Directions — then ask about your quantity, due date, and whether the work stays in that building.
